What is Yoga?
Yoga is a lot of things. But the definition is the practice of body movement, including stretching, poses/postures and breathing techniques, to bring spiritual, physical and mental health into balance.
What should I wear?
Wear what makes you feel comfortable in an exercise type of environment. Most of the time people will be barefooted and the extended movements require clothing that is not restrictive.

What should I bring?
Typically it is always a good idea to bring water via a water bottle and your own Yoga mat. If you need water or a Yoga mat you can purchase them at the Southwest Atlanta Yoga before class starts.
What kind of classes are available?
We have beginner and advanced classes. All are welcome regardless of where you are physically and spiritually at as we help you work at your own pace. Do I need any experience?
Absolutely no experience is needed. You grow and learn at your own pace. Although some classes are more demanding than others they are all designed for everyone that wants to take them.
